Kyuhyun’s Awesome Chinese!

I’m over whelmed with midterm testing and annoyed by the internet drama caused over Kangin’s scandals.  However here is the bright side: Kyuhyun’s cuteness!  Kyuhyun, this magnae never puts me down:

Host: Hangeng, you learn 2 sentences first.
Hangeng: ‘za de chi le ma‘  How come you didn’t eat yet?

Kyuhyun: za de chi le ma?  My name is Gui Xian (said his name wrong, Chinese is a tonal language, the meaning changes when syllables are pronounced in a different tone)

hahaha!  Kyuhyun and Donghae are so cute!  But seriously, when I was learning Chinese I remember that there was a section all about dating and asking a girl out to dinner.  Perhaps their lao shi (teacher) has been teaching them this!  By the way, I think Hangeng speaks Chinese with a Dong Bei dialect because he is from the Hei Long Jian province of China.  I just did a quick research on it and a person on a Chinese speaking forum said that people with a Dong Bei accent sounds like they are talking with rocks in their mouth!  I don’t know if all Dong Bei speakers sounds like this but I would have to agree that Hangeng does sound a lot like that when he speaks.

Congrats to Mark Zhao at the Golden Bell Awards!

Mark Zhao won best male lead at the  2009 Golden Bell Awards for his role as Wu Ying Xiong in the Taiwanese television series, Black and White.  Congrats for Black and White who also took home Best Drama, Best Director, Best Marketing and Best Art Direction.  I am so happy for Black and White, if you haven’t see the series yet, watch it!  I highly recommend you to watch this drama.

Here’s a quick translation of his touching speech:

There is a lot of things that I want to say therefore I should not cry… time isn’t enough.  First of all I would like to thank Director Cai who filmed the drama, Black and White. I want to thank all the workers who took part in making this drama, you guys didn’t see how much work they put in the drama and all the effort they spent in making this.  Thanks to the comrades, actors, brothers and sisters, my mother, father, and my older brother…
But the most important thing that I want to say is that I want to thank someone, it is that person who is sitting at my side (Mark’s dad forces Vic to stand up but refuses, however he eventually stands up)  His name is Zhou Yu Min, everyone knows he is called Zai Zai.  His is my big bro (‘da ge’)…  he accompanied me for 9 months and help me filmed Black and White until it was finished.  He is the person who I am most grateful to, thanks bro.

The part when Mark thanked Vic, it seems like Vic was in his own little conversation with Xiao Zhu until Xiao Zhu pointed out that Mark was thanking Vic.  Vic seemed so surprised and didn’t know how to react to Mark’s praise for him and almost turned out like he was about to break into tears.  I found Mark’s last piece of his speech to be so touching and I hope that this talented, young, and new actor will only continue to make great work like Black and White.

Who is the Gayest in Super Junior?

It’s OK to be Gay-

I guess my girl friends and I do pretty gay stuff but I didn’t think guys (Super Junior) would out beat my gayness with my girlfriends!  ^__^  Oh lord, I rewatched this video 5 times already and I love it!  hahahaa!  So who is the gayest in Suju? I think the part at 2:40 when Ryeowook hugged Henry from the back and then Henry hugged him back and grabbed his ass… WOW, that was pretty gay but I think it will give fan girls too many nice dreams and dirty thoughts.  Besides them two, there is like Donghae gayness all over the place. <3

Henry Lau’s SM Presentation?

I almost forgot that Henry can speak English and totally forgot how young he is!  He looks so nervous in the video, as if he was preparing a last minute speech on his presentation.

G.E.M Tang- All About You

I found this song that I dearly love by G.E.M Tang called “All About You”.  I love the beat of the song and her voice.  It’s such a happy feeling for me, I miss listening to this kind of music.  I really like her image how she is just so free and innocent, almost like a girl who can be a best friend.  By the way male lead in the MV looks like he can be brothers with Wenworth Miller.

Jay Chou Meets Suju

This video is from Jay Chou’s promotion of “Secret” in South Korea early 2008.  First of all, I didn’t know that my two favorite things (Jay and Suju) had already met each other!  *excited*  At the end Jay even shook hands my my other hubby, Kyuhyun!   lol!  ***  Ok enough of being a fan girl for the day, I need to read for classes!

By the way, I don’t understand Cantonese, anyone mind translating?  I have no idea why Suju was also present at the promo…  I skimmed through the Chinese text and Leetuek referred Jay as some one big from China, I think he doesn’t know that Jay is Taiwanese???

What Kind of Girl Does Kyuhyun Like?

I have too much homework to translate the full clip but I wanted to share a kyute Kyuhyun moment!  When the host asked what is their ideal super girl, Kyuhyun answered:

“我的 SUPER GIRL 是我的歌迷 “ My super girl are my fans. (and then he smirks shyly!)

By the way, Hangeng and Henry both said it’s their mom and Ryeowook said (in the future) it is his daughter.

I originally wrote this post about Joe Cheng’s (郑元畅) debut song that can be viewed here, but I’ll just make a quick note about it: Is it just me who can’t take our “Jiang Zhi Shu” seriously as a singer???

Ok, now for the real deal!  SJM finally released their teaser.  This whole week I have been tailgating SJM but nothing new besides more pics and a teaser (yay)!  China is very good at leaking out albums… so can you please leak the album out yet!?  I promise I will buy the album!
